Michelle “Shell” Todd, far left, offers a few knitting tips to two crochet students as part of the Hooked on Human Kindness effort at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Hospital recently. The students include Mindy Bentley, center, and Amanda Cline. As part of Hooked on Human Kindness, volunteers at the hospital knit gloves, hats and other clothing items for individuals who need warm items to wear this winter. Interest in the program has also spawned similar programs at other Saint Joseph locations. Todd brought the effort with her when she joined Saint Joseph Mount Sterling two years ago.
