Charles Douglas Moore, 65
Charles Douglas Moore, 65, of Owingsville, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born March 31, 1959 in Mason County, he was the son of the late Charles B. Moore and Anna Louise Highley. He was a retired physical therapist for Reliant Rehabilitation. He attended Rolling Hills Church of Christ, loved going to rock concerts and enjoyed high school sports. He kept stats for MCHS football and basketball for over 20 years. He loved his children and grandchildren, and physical therapy was his passion.
Survivors include a son, Josh Moore of Mt. Sterling; daughter, Danielle Johnson (Will) of Richmond; the mother of his children, Deborah Wills Wilson; sisters, Janet Mills (Gary) of Jeffersonville, Patricia Joseph (Jeff Rudd) of Mt. Sterling, Donna Moore of Lebanon, Crystal Mulvaney of Shepherdsville and Katrina Holt (John) of Shepherdsville; and grandchildren, Bradley Moore, Brennen Moore, Briana Moore, Brayden Moore, Brody Johnson, Mayci Johnson and Quinn Johnson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Moore.
Memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Murphy officiating. Visitation will be 5:30-7 p.m., Thursday.
