Community supports duo’s efforts on collecting supplies for Kentucky flood victims

Brooks Lynne Overton, far left, and Jenny Anderson Howell, far right, with help from Thompson Transportation, recently delivered donated supplies to flood victims in eastern Kentucky. Thompson Transportation offered the service free of charge. Also pictured are Tonya Throughman and Gary and Kathy Henderson. Overton and Howell organized a flood relief drive for flood victims with a number of local businesses serving as collection points.

Scartlett Cameriz, a Northview Elementary School student, had her patient checked out by Montgomery County High School student Jaiden Oney during a Teddy Bear Clinic Feb. 28 at the school.
